I am a chemical engineer that has always wanted my own business since I was a child. I worked at Goodyear for ten years, until I was approached by my Brother in- law from Durban who was running a Remez business there. He suggested that we open a branch in PE, which we did in October 1989. Five years later my Brother (Mark) started a branch in Cape town.

We started the business by doing automatic gates and garage doors. We later branched into manufacturing of gates and installations that are related to perimeter security such as Gates, Fences, Boundary Walls, Automation, Intercoms, Electric Locks, Cameras, Garage Doors, Access Control – shops and factories using keypads, Biometric (fingerprint) Scanners.

Our list of customers is extensive about 70% residential and 30% industrial or commercial. FNB, Woolworths, Williams Hunt, Trafalgar Properties, Rubicon Electrical, Mutual and Federal, Famsa, Elephant Walk, Denys Edwardes, Komatsu, Mohair SA, Mahlert Construction, Legal Aid Board, Nedbank Insurance, Gardmed Ambulance Service, SANDF, UTI, Stucken and Co, Famous Brands, Milltrans, Price and Pride, Bellbuoy Property Group, Goldberg De Villiers Attorneys, Sanlam, Pam Golding.

One reason for our success is responding to the customer as soon as possible, supplying them with a quote immediately and following up on the order. We engage with our clients directly and give them the service they deserve.
